Wine Club Member Wine and Food Pairing

As a show of our appreciation to all to our Wine Club Members, we host a complimentary wine and food pairing each quarter featuring that quarter's club allocations. This is your opportunity to taste the newest additions to our collection of fine wines and explore food pairings designed specifically to bring out the flavor nuances found in those wines. It's also a great time to mingle with other wine enthusiast like yourself. We will be pairing our 2017 Sauvignon Blanc with a Goat Cheese & Pair Tart and the 2013 Syrah Lester Vineyard with Eric’s famous Baby Back Ribs.

Complimentary to members, $25 for non-members. Guests of members can pay upon arrival. Reservations necessary by Friday, February 15th.

As a perk to our Wine Club members, on the 1st Saturday of every month we host an afternoon with our winemaker, Eric Stockwell. This is your chance to taste wines in the making and, on occasion, purchase wine futures at 50% off of retail price.

This month you will have the opportunity to try your hand at bottling and previewing our 2017 Pinot Noir from the Lester Vineyard, prior to it being laid down for a spell.

First Friday with artist Bryan Garrison, jewelry makers Ashley Tews of Flow & Grow Studios and Jewelry by Carli, Ate3One Food Truck & Toby Gray

We invite you to join us in welcoming local photographer and artist Bryan Garrison. His works of art include mixed media of prints on wood, primarily repurposed wood, and are a great addition to any wall in your home or business.

We will also be hosting two jewelry-makers for the evening.

Ashley Tews of Flow & Grow Studios, will be showing and selling her handmade leather clutches, cuffs and wallets as well as lamp work glass loop necklaces and earrings.

Jewelry by Carli will sharing with us her uniquely beautiful, handmade necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Perfect for your Valentine or a little treat for yourself!

We will be offering glasses of wine for purchase to enjoy while perusing the art and listening to music preformed by Toby Gray. In addition, Ate3One food truck will be making delicious street food for purchase.

We are excited to be hosting Andrew Purchin as our First Friday artist for an encore month in January. This is your opportunity to sip on a glass of wine while perusing Andrew’s beautiful paintings and watch him continue to paint a live piece he began in December.

Drunk Monkeys food truck will be serving up delicious Asian infused dishes and Jazz the Dog band will be filling the cellar with all of your favorite tunes.

Poetry Reading & Wine

Join us as we welcome our friends Jake and Gary Young for this special evening of poetry and wine. We will be offering glasses of wine at our usual Thirsty Thursday price of $8. Cheese plates will also be available purchase.

Jake Young will be reading from his debut collection, American Oak.

Gary Young will read from his most recent book, That’s What I Thought.

Jake young is a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators. He received his MFA from North Carolina State University, and he is completing his PhD in English Literature with an emphasis in creative writing at the University of Missouri–Columbia. He is poetry editor for the Chicago Quarterly Review.

“In American Oak Jake Young writes of spirits, longing, nature, and the everyday wonders we could easily overlook.These poems of the senses carry the aromas of salt and olives, wine barrels and pine, poems that rustle with a warm wind and invite us to be present in a world passing us by.”

Gary young is a poet, artist, and translator. His many honors include the Shelley Memorial Award and the William Carlos Williams Award, both from the Poetry Society of America. His print work is represented in collections including the Museum of Modern Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and The Getty Center for the Arts. He teaches creative writing and directs the Cowell Press at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
